Why does this website exist?

I am Nancy Stork, a lawyer, certified classical Pilates instructor, and business coach (IHK). A potpourri of many activities that might not seem to fit together, yet they share one common thread – working with people, both physically and mentally. In my many professional roles, there is a lot of talking, implying, discussing, and also misunderstanding. Solutions only emerge when people think, question, and challenge assumptions – and when a shift in perspective takes place. However, people are very often triggered by opinions, framing, or simply by words. At this point, much is implied but little is recognized; much is known but few questions are asked; and in the end, it becomes clear that little thought was given to asking the questions that, in the best-case scenario, would provide the answers and lead to a solution.
It was against this backdrop that the idea for this website was born. It does not offer traditional coaching or counseling aimed at becoming a better person along the lines of: “I know the way. Follow me.” Personal development can only take place once a person has learned to recognize their limited way of thinking and, in the best-case scenario, to expand their thinking. The reader is therefore neither to be lectured nor encouraged to engage in superficial reflection. No specific path is laid out, nor are definitive answers offered. However, I invite you to draw your own map more clearly and effectively.
It’s not a project; it’s a vision to enable every person to create their own toolbox of thought. It’s a kind of North Star, a guide to consciously expand one’s own thinking tools and personal mindset.
